About Arizona Gynecology in Tucson
The team at Arizona Gynecology in Tucson serves its patients with supportive, compassionate, and quality care for women in Tucson, Pima County, and surrounding communities.
Dr. Manuel Herrera is a south Texas native with parents from Mexico.
He graduated from Baylor University with a B.S. in Biology and received his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.
He completed his internship and residency at University of Arizona Health Sciences Center and have been in practice since 1987.
Dr. Herrera has been married to his wife Lucia with whom he has one daughter, Sofia. On his free time, Dr. Herrera stays active by swimming, doing strenuous gym workouts and hiking. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures with his wife.
Jaime Ledesma, M.D. is a board-certified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology. He is a native Tucsonan and has been in practice since 1990. He prides himself on providing excellent gynecological care in a supportive environment, where patients feel confident discussing their individual health challenges.
Areas of treatment include well woman care, irregular menses, premenstrual disorders, family planning, including IUD placement, abnormal pap smears and colposcopy, menopausal challenges including sexual and hormonal issues, evaluation and treatment of pelvic prolapse and other urological conditions Dr. Ledesma can also assist patients with general health concerns and help in navigating their complete care.
After earning a medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Dr. Ledesma completed an internship at the University of New Mexico and returned to the U of A to complete his residency.
